Portraits of Victims of Human Rights Violations
Yahya Jammeh ruled The Gambia for 22 years through corruption, abuse and human rights atrocities. There are thought to be thousands of victims from his time in power and he remains in exile in Equatorial Guinea . The current government has instituted a Truth Reconciliation and Reparations Committee (TRRC) that is currently holding hearings on the abuses of the former dictator.
